Thank you for your faithful prayers and intercession though the years. We have rejoiced in the numerous letters and notes you have sent with your financial support, confirming that you have been holding this ministry in constant prayer.
I have an urgent prayer request for my wife, Jeannie. On March 2, 2016 she was diagnosed with incurable cancer in her stomach area. The doctor says this is an inoperable terminal situation. The bottom line is that she needs a miracle from God in order to live. We praise God that as believers, we don’t go by man’s report! We have seen the mighty power of God move in the past, delivering her from breast cancer in 2012. We are asking for your prayers once again to come against Satan’s attack on my family.
Jeannie was hospitalized on the night of March 28, 2016 due to intense pain and vomiting. The CT scan revealed that the tumors were growing rapidly. She was released from the hospital on Thursday, March 31, 2016 and was able to attend our Sabbath service on Saturday, April 2, 2016. The week of April 4, 2016, the symptoms were increasing and she wasn’t able to keep any nutrition down, not even water. The doctor wanted to start chemotherapy at that time, but she was too weak.
I researched an alternative treatment, but it is very costly and not covered by our insurance. I need to raise approximately $50,000 for this treatment. If any of you would like to help with this expense, please send your gift to WMI and designate it for Jeannie Hansen’s medical / healing fund. This would be a tax deductible gift.
On the morning of April 19, 2016, I took Jeannie back to the hospital due to intense pain and vomiting. The challenge was for her to be able to keep some nutrition down. In the hospital, they were able to re-hydrate her and manage her pain. She has begun chemotherapy treatments once a week.
She was having trouble breathing and was taken to the hospital by aid car early Wednesday morning, April 20, 2016. CT scans showed multiple, fairly significant sized clots within the lungs. This caused some strain on her heart. The doctors recommended a procedure that would place a catheter up through the femoral vein, through the right side of the heart & into the lung, infusing a clot buster medication to dissolve the clots. There are some risks to doing this procedure but the benefits outweigh the risks at this point. The procedure took place around 2 pm Pacific time. She came through the procedure and everything went well. Praise God! She has lots of clots on both lungs and they are going to repeat the procedure on the other lung on Thursday morning, April 21, 2016. The procedure on Thursday morning went well.
The prayer points are: dissolving the clots without complication; no further clots breaking free and getting into the lungs; no further stress to her heart. Most importantly, that Jesus would be glorified through it all.
This disease is not too big for God! We are battling daily in prayer, fasting as needed, until we
see the VICTORY!
