On October 8, 1994, Reverend Hansen received this revelation from the Lord:

“Judgment is coming upon Japan. Japan is bound by giant deception as a thick forest. The Word of God uncompromised, used as a sword, will start to cut down the forest; but a catastrophe will strike the nation and the church will start to draw nigh unto God.”

At 5:46 a.m. Tuesday morning, January 17, 1995, catastrophe struck the nation of Japan. Over 5,000 people died and 300,000 were left homeless. The city of Kobe, which many in Japan thought was quake-safe, was devastated by a killer earthquake. Newsweek magazine reported the following statements in the January 30, 1995 copy, “Hell in 20 seconds: To those in Kobe last week it must have seemed that in just 20 seconds Japan’s magnificent postwar rise to economic superpower had been reduced to an illusion. One moment they were dressed, propertied, and secure; the next they were refugees shuffling through rubble-strewn streets fretted by flame; they were lugging bundled possessions on their backs, while they discovered the corpses of loved ones and neighbors. Many Japanese were shocked to the bone not just by the tragedy but by their nation’s ill- preparedness after years of government assurances about the state-of-the-art earthquake proofing.”

The word of warning from God on October 8, 1994 came true!

Japan’s attitude of superiority and self- reliance was shattered in less than one minute. Their trust in scientific technology turned out to be faith in a myth. As God says in 1 Corinthians 1:19, “For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

On January 28, 1995, Reverend Hansen received another revelation from the only true and living God. The warning was:

“The nation generally has not recognized God’s hand trying to draw their attention toward Him. Instead, they remain self- reliant and proud. More earthquakes will fall upon Japan. Also, another catastrophe of a different type will fall upon Japan. Through these series of events the Word will be received in greater proportion than before by some of the church; and some people in Japan will turn to the living God.”

The warning and messages from the Lord are clear! Many Christians and others in Japan are spiritually bound by deception. This is a result of not allowing the Holy Spirit, through the Scriptures (Bible), to change one’s heart, mind, personality, values, beliefs and lifestyle. When believers continue to resist the operation of the Holy Spirit in their lives, through Scripture, they become spiritually bankrupt. In their own self-reliance, they become unaware of their rebellious nature. Instead, they become vain, callous and cold to the truths, mercy and love of God. Through the warnings (catastrophes), God in His grace is trying to get man’s attention and enable him to see his true spiritual condition (Romans 1:16-32).

On March 20, 1995, a “catastrophe of a different type”, as forewarned by God, hit Japan. Twelve people died and 5,500 were injured. The Tokyo subway was the scene of a bizarre attack on millions of people: a sarin gas attack. The April 3, 1995 edition of Newsweek magazine reads, “It was a mystery why many more people didn’t die.”

Japan was once again left in a state of shock as fear gripped the nation.

It is believed that Shoko Asahara, leader of the Aum Shinrikyo Sect, was behind the sarin gas attack. Newsweek magazine cover edition April 3, 1995, reads “Cult of Terror.” Newsweek reports, “Venerated Master, Shoko Asahara says sarin will be a primary weapon in the final world war set to begin as early as 1997.” According to Newsweek magazine May 29, 1995, Aum devotees are accused of helping to amass enough chemical and biological weapons to kill millions of people. Police suspect Aum tried to smuggle nuclear weapons from Russia. Time magazine, June 12, 1995 reports that Asahara planned to start a world war in November 1995 by, “Attacks on government buildings, the Diet and the Imperial Palace. One plan called for releasing sarin over Tokyo from 1.65- m-long remote-controlled helicopters. Asahara would follow up the attack by overpowering the Japanese Self Defense Forces, and taking control of Japan with his own tanks and fighter jets.”

Once again, God’s Word and revelation January 28, 1995 of the future came true!

Two major catastrophes leave the Japanese questioning their values, beliefs and meaning to life. Newsweek May 29, 1995 reports, “Our system created people who may be smart with high marks, but don’t have any feeling about hurting others. This country is not so healthy mentally,” says Hideo Takeichi, a journalism professor at Tokyo’s Sophia University. “We Japanese university professors, and also the Ministry of Education, should have some sense of responsibility for this sarin gas incident. It’s a chance for a paradigm shift - for a change in our basic social values. For a while the economic ride was enough for some people, but there isn’t a whole lot you can hook into in Japanese society if you’re looking for something to give your life meaning.”

There are over 180,000 religious groups nation-wide in Japan today. The Bible tells us that religion is not the answer; there is only one true and living God revealed through Jesus Christ. There will be more catastrophes in Japan on an increasing scale in the future as God, in His mercy, tries to reveal Himself to the people of Japan.

Many people will die -- damned and rejected by God because they would not heed the warnings and turn to the living God.

THERE IS HOPE.

Christians living in Japan, it is time to live and preach the Word of God faithfully to bring salvation to yourselves and set the captives free (the people blinded in selfish deception).

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” II Timothy 3:16

People of Japan turn from your present values and seek the only TRUE GOD as your only source of security.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5

To the Church in Japan

Dear fellow believer. Time as we know it is coming to a close. Many “Christians” do not seem to know the “times” or “seasons” that we are living in. As in the times of Jesus Christ multitudes of people today are missing their “visitation.” The book of Jude warns that right before the second advent there will be a “great falling away from the truth” (apostasy). These apostates will deny Jesus by denying the following truths: 1. God in the flesh. 2. The virgin birth. 3. The Calvary experience (blood shed for the remission of sins, by His stripes ye are healed, access gained back to God through Christ’s righteousness). 4. The personal, physical return of the Lord Jesus Christ. 5. Through Christ alone and through no other way can one be “born again”.

Did you know that the unholy quartet made up of the European Union, the Russian Federation, the United Nations and the United States has determined that the Palestinians and Israelis simply do not have the ability to make peace together; consequently, they have a goal of forcing a democratic Palestinian state.

Do you realize that there is a chip developed to be implanted in the right hand of every man, woman, and child just as Revelation 13 warns?

Yes, time is running out on this dispensation of grace and universal judgment is starting to fall on nations as “The Science of Judgment” continues to be fulfilled. God’s behavior toward Israel is no different than toward other nations.

God’s behavior is universal. The “full cup principle” with Israel is as follows: Israel becomes wicked and then warnings are sent from God through prophets. When the warnings are repeatedly rejected by the people or nation, then God sends destruction!

Note this example: God sent eight prophets to Israel over a period of 130 years prior to the destruction of the ten northern tribes. Through these prophets God warned the people to repent and obey the laws of God or He would send destruction. God sent the prophets Elisha, Obadiah, Joel, Jonah, Amos, Hosea, Isaiah and Micah. When the majority of the people continued to reject the warnings of God, which were the grace and mercy of God, finally the cup of iniquity became full. God broke His silence and used the Assyrian king to bring His judgment upon Israel by destroying the ten tribes of Israel in 722 B.C. Later, when the Assyrian nation’s cup of iniquity became full, God sent another nation to destroy the Assyrians. The cup of iniquity principle always occurs for it is a rule/law designed by God Himself-it is the Science of Judgment!

Prior to the destruction of the southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin, God, in His compassion, sent five prophets to warn them to repent. For 65 years the prophets Nahum, Zephaniah, Habakkuk, Jeremiah and Ezekiel tried to warn the people of God’s anger toward their sins, but they continued to reject the warnings of the prophets. We must try to realize that God is predictable. There are certain patterns of apostasy that are scientific for all nations. God’s character of justice and mercy is known and balanced into what I call divine love.

There comes a point of no return. Please refer to the following: Leviticus 26:14-33; Jeremiah 7:16, 11:11,14, 14:11-16, 15:1-7, 18:1, 7- 17; 30:12-15; Ezekiel 5:11-12, 7:8-9, 8:17-18, 9:9-10, 14:13, 14, 16, 18, 20; Daniel 9:11, 13, 14; Nahum 3:19; I Thessalonians 5:3; Revelation 6:7, 8, 19:15-21; and there are many more examples.

Four choices bring judgment upon a nation: The act of idolatry (worshipping other gods/religions), immorality (fornication, sodomy, lesbianism, divorce), killing the innocent (abortion and common murder) and dividing the land of Israel.

Eight million gods are worshiped in Japan while only close to 300,000 people attend church each week in a nation of 127,000,000 people. Japan Today, January 6, 2004, reports “An estimated 89 million people, a record high, visited Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples during the first three days of the New Year...” The majority of the people living in Japan are Animist, Buddhist, Shinto, atheist, agnostic, humanist, deist, etc. The Associated Press, Wednesday, September 17, 2003, states “Tokyo...the number of divorces rose for a 12th straight year...according to recently released government statistics”. According to the Summary of Registered Abortions Worldwide, through 2004, Japan has an estimated total abortions of 76,067,000 through February 2004 (Refer to website www.johnstonsarchive.net under abortions statistics). Please refer to http://www.geocities.co.jp/Berkeley/3508/japanesehistory.html and read “Japanese History For Gay Men.”

Dear saint, the return of Jesus Christ is quickly approaching. Jesus wants to use each one of us as His instruments to usher in a mighty revival. As I Corinthians chapters 13 and 14 admonish us, we must truly move throughout Japan with the love of God. Jesus moved with passion and compassion as He walked the earth. He reached out to the prostitutes and tax collectors. He reached out to the poor, educated and wealthy. He taught His disciples to move throughout the earth extending the love of God with His delegated authority. We as believers must unite as the bride of Jesus Christ and allow God to change our wrong attitudes of prejudice, denominationalism, traditions, customs and cultures and allow the Holy Spirit to use us to reflect God’s love throughout Japan. We can smile and witness on the trains and subways. We must show genuine concern and offer to pray for people’s needs. Let us lay hands on the sick as the Holy Spirit directs and pray the prayer of faith. We need to allow the living Jesus to be manifested through each of us daily.

Joel 2:28-29 states, “And it shall come to pass afterwards, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit.”

I have found as I travel in and out of 85 nations that sharing intellectually and/or through debate alone will not convince very many people to change their religion. “It is the power of God unto salvation” that proves the reality of Jesus Christ against a dead god. Our God lives and is amply able to prove His reality in signs following when truth is given. Time for mercy and grace is running out. We need to be walking epistles known and read by all men, able to be seen as ambassadors of a living God. There is a time and season for men to represent Jesus and then He will Himself speak to a nation through judgment. That time for Japan is quickly approaching. However, II Chronicles 7:14 always applies.

Jonathan Hansen
