Isaiah 62.1-7
1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. 2 The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow. 3 You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. 4 No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married. 5 As a young man marries a maiden, so will your sons marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. 6 I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD , give yourselves no rest, 7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.
In biblical typology, Zion represents the Church; those whom are called out and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. This prophetic utterance by Isaiah speaks of a time when the name or character of God’s people would be changed. Once they were called Desolate and Deserted, but in the future, they will be called Hephzibah, meaning, my delight is in her and Beulah, meaning, married.
Through the blood of Jesus Christ we have been united, “married” to Christ, who is the spiritual bridegroom, whereas we, the Church are the bride. The purpose of the Christian is to take on the full maturity of Jesus Christ, such that we can be presented one day to Jesus as a bride without spot or wrinkle. Revelation 9:16 states, “Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.” We, the Church are preparing ourselves for the great day of bodily reunion with our Lord at the marriage feast of the Lamb! Isaiah 62:5 continues by describing the Lord’s delight in his bride: “…as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.”
However, we must realize that this time of preparation for the Christian must be active, persistent and vibrant. Within this new covenant marriage with Jesus Christ, both the Lord and his followers have a part to play. The Lord’s prophetic promise in this Isaiah passage must be met with obedience and faithfulness. Remember Daniel, who upon discovering that the exile to Babylon was to last seventy years, did not sit by idly waiting for “glory days,” rather he, “turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes” (Daniel 9.3).
After the Lord spoke through Isaiah these tremendous prophetic blessings, the Word of God responds by exclaiming in verses 6-7, “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” What is the Lord saying here? He is saying, “There is a battle to be fought to behold these blessings!” The enemy will not role over and declare defeat because of the prophetic will of God. Any person, ministry, church or nation that wants to enter into these blessings must “gird up their loins,” and fight the good fight. Jesus essentially says, “give me no peace, give me no rest, call on me day and night until the things which I promise come to pass.” This is a truth principle for any of the promises of God. We must diligently and relentlessly intercede and pray because our enemy is as a roaring lion trying to devour us and the promises God has for us.
This is why the Lord directed us to develop the Soldiers of the Cross, a mighty army of intercessors who will send spiritual missiles into the enemies camp and break the potential strongholds, which Satan will try to employ against this ministry. In addition, the Lord led us to establish the Gate Breakers prayer ministry. This prayer department prays for the needs within the Body of Christ. The name says it all; we are determined
to break down the gates of Hades and loosen the blessings for his bride. We have seen such tremendous testimonies of answered prayer as we have partnered with hundreds of people who have needs and burdens just like you. Please see page 2 and 3 for a sampling of some recent testimonies submitted to our ministry.
Dear friends of the Gospel, we deeply desire to reach the nations for Jesus Christ. This is the year to “possess the land,” to warn nations of coming judgment and to present to them the gift of eternal life. We need your help! No ministry or local church can effectively function and do all it is called to do without the faithful partnership of the saints.
Shortly after the death of Saul, David sought to gain support and strength to build an effective and righteous kingdom. In 1Chronicles 12, the scripture lists the many thousands of soldiers from the various tribes who met David in Hebron to “turn Saul’s kingdom over to him.”
After the listing of the soldiers, it says in verse 38 that “these were fighting men who volunteered to serve in the ranks. They came to Hebron fully determined to make David king over all Israel.” To effectively function as a team or an army for Jesus Christ, we must have the same determination and burden as these soldiers who faithfully supported David. We must all realize that the hour is late, time is running out and judgment is coming for those who do not repent of their sins and turn to the Lord. We all must share the burden, to do whatever we can to sow seeds of righteousness and to impregnate the nations with the Word of the Lord!
There are so many ways that you can partner with us to get the message out. If you have a deep burden to intercede for the nations, please contact our office and inquire about the intercessory army, the Soldiers of the Cross. We need 2,000 intercessors in America and in every nation, which will enable us to carry the message to the political and religious leaders as well as to the masses.
We also need material resources to successfully move in and out of 85 nations. Again, no church or ministry can effectively minister without faithfulness in financial support. After the soldiers assembled to support David’s leadership it says, “The men spent three days there with David, eating and drinking, for their families had supplied provisions for them. Also, their neighbors from as far away as Issachar, Zebulun and Naphtali came bringing food on donkeys, camels, mules and oxen. There were plentiful supplies of flour, fig cakes, raisin cakes, wine, oil, cattle and sheep, for there was joy in Israel. Like David and his army, we at World Ministries International need your faithful financial support so that there are plentiful supplies to carry out the work of the Lord.

As mentioned above, I want to share with you a sample of some of the testimonies to answered prayer, which have come as a result of the Gate Breakers prayer team. Jesus Christ longs to rejoice over us and to meet us at the pinnacle of our needs. I hope you are moved and encouraged by these testimonies.
Dear WMI Prayer Team (Gate Breakers),
“ I was diagnosed with having sodium build-up in my colon. Swelling, hives and water retention caused my colon to shut down. I chose to be healed by the Lord rather than put more medicine in my already over toxic system.
The pain was so heavy for twelve days and nights. I cried out to the Lord, “I have done everything I know to do,” including repenting of sin, calling for prayer, standing firm on the Word of God and believing in faith. Within 40 minutes, all toxins left my body, the swelling started to go back to normal; Praise the Lord!
Thank you WMI prayer team for standing firm on the Word of God and believing with me.”
Bonnie
Dear Gate Breakers,
“Thank you for the intercessory prayer. My daughter contacted you for prayer for her business and soul mates (husbands) for the both of us. When she told me that she had prayed for a husband for me, I giggled like Sarah. She dreamed that night that the prayers coming from your team were like missiles going into the heavenly, but my prayer missile hit the ground. I know it was because I doubted, I asked the Lord to forgive me. My daughter’s prayers for her business are being answered. We have committed to give also to Prophet Hansen’s work. Thank you once again for your prayers for they are like missiles going into the heavens doing great damage to the principalities and succeeding to heaven to present our request. Stay encouraged and never stop taking giant steps for our Lord.”
Denise
“I called WMI for prayer because I had lost almost all of my cleaning jobs within one week. I knew I needed prayer. The day I called, I was fortunate that Pastor Hansen was available to pray with me over the telephone. He prayed God would bring me new jobs, which would be better paying and gave the request to the prayer department (Gate Breakers). In a few days my calendar was filling up and I was getting more money per job. I praise God for brother Hansen, he has much love for the body of Christ and he is being obedient to the call that God has placed on his life. Gate Breakers has been praying for my four grown children and I see the Lord working in their lives. We must trust Him with our children and worship Him for He is a good God!”

“My name is Ron Marlow and my family and I have been volunteers with World Ministries International (WMI) for five years. The Lord has answered many prayers in our lives though the Gate Breakers ministry. I would like to share one of the tremendous testimonies, which was a real miracle for our family.
We needed a place to live close to the ministry and so my wife and I asked Karen to add us to the prayer list and pray with us in getting a place to live. I knew it was the will of God for us to move, but because of many circumstances, I did not know how it was going to happen. Yet, the Lord had a plan and this is how He began to move in this situation.
A very close friend of ours told us about a new apartment complex, which was going in by their house in Arlington and that they were taking applications. After church, we followed them there to take a look. We got the name of the complex and when we got home that day we looked it up on the Internet to get a telephone number so that we could apply. The organization is called Housing Hope and they help low-income families get housing. On Monday morning, my wife gave them a call and they said that the waiting list was about a year for any housing in Stanwood, which is where WMI is located. We applied anyway, just believing God would open the door. We put in our application on April 15, 2003 and received a letter on April 25 that an apartment was available in Marysville, which is about 20 minutes from the ministry. The letter also stated that the rent was going to be considerably more than what we were already paying and so we decided to commit it to prayer. In the end, I just did not have peace about it because I believed that we were to move to Stanwood so that we could be close enough to the ministry to walk if we had to. Therefore, I declined, knowing that it could remove us from the list because they have a rule that if you turn down housing you are removed from the list.
Praise God, He always comes though when we are walking in His will! On June 11, we received a letter that a house was available in Stanwood, yes Stanwood (2.3 miles from the ministry). Glory to God and it was ours if we were still interested. So we accepted the house and moved in on August 31, 2003, it was just perfect for our family.
We thank the Lord for the Gate Breakers ministry of World Ministries International for their commitment to pray with us. God is faithful to answer all of our prayers.”

In 3 John 2, the Apostle John communicates to his audience the 3-fold blessing or promise of salvation: “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” (NASB). The testimonies above speak to each of these blessings, which the Lord promises to those who call on him and give him no rest. The promise to prosper (not for selfish gain,) but in order to have the material resources to provide for your family and to extend the Kingdom of God. The second blessing is for good health. We can have good health, for within the blood covenant of Jesus Christ, there is provision for physical healing and strength. Thirdly, the promise of prosperity for the soul (mind, will, and emotions). This promise comes by the work of the Holy Spirit as you spend time with the Lord, reading his Word and obeying it. Our desire and prayer is that each of you lay hold of all the promises of God. If you would like us to stand beside you in prayer for a need in your life, please contact our Gate Breakers prayer team. We at WMI look forward to partnering with you this year, as together, we behold the promises and extend them to others throughout the world.

“I Will Build My Church, and The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail Against It” Matthew 16.18
GATES REPRESENT AUTHORITY: In the Garden of Eden, Adam handed over his God-given authority to Satan when he directly disobeyed the command of the Lord. The Scriptures declare that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, this authority has been stripped from Satan and is being delegated to the Church: “The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen and dissolve) the works the devil has done” (1Jn 3:8 AMP). Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (Mt. 28.18), and it is because our lives are hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3), that all authority is at our disposal. The gates or authority of Hell can be toppled (as in Jericho), when the heirs of the Kingdom, the Church, rises up in faithfulness and obedience to the Word of God.
THE BURDEN: World Ministries International has a prayer ministry called
Gate Breakers, and we want to faithfully minister to those who are part of
The Church Without Walls. The Gate Breakers team prays daily over all the requests which come into our office. As with any church, praying with the people over their needs is very important. Gate Breakers desires to come into agreement with you, and stand alongside and lift you up before the Lord in your time of need. If we live in obedience to Christ, then true faith can manifest and together we can knock down the “gates” of the enemy! This is the body of Christ in action, to “Bear ye one another’s burdens.” We hear many tremendous answers to prayer and rejoice with the people as they relate to us what God has done in their lives. We welcome your prayer requests and will truly pray over each one.
HOW TO RESPOND: You can respond by one of three ways: 1. Sending your requests to the address above. 2. Call us at 360-629-5248, or 3.Utilize our website at www.worldministries.org and click on
