1 John 5:1-5  NKJV

Obedience by Faith

1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

1 John 5:18  NKJV

Knowing the True—Rejecting the False

18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

Matthew 12:24  NKJV

24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

John 8:44  NKJV

44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Recognizing and Renouncing the Hidden Presence of Satan

It's often said that Satan's best trick is to hide, making you unaware of his presence or even his existence. As an exorcist, I have found this to be true. One of our tasks is to expose these hidden forces. We pray powerful prayers from the Church, and demons, unable to stand, will often reveal themselves with screams.

However, before they are exposed, there are subtle signs of their presence. I want to share seven hidden signs that may indicate the presence of Satan or his demons, and what you can do about it.

Seven Hidden Signs of Satan's Presence

  1. Lethargy and Fatigue
Demons drain your energy, leaving you feeling tired or lethargic. Many people in sessions describe a sense of exhaustion, which dissipates when the demons are cast out.
  1. Nausea and Headaches
Sensitive individuals may feel nausea or experience headaches when in the presence of demons or in places deeply infested with evil.
  1. A General Sick Feeling
Demons can cause a sense of sickness throughout your body. This sensation often disappears when their presence is removed.
  1. Exaggerated Anger or Rage
While anger is a natural emotion, demonic influence can cause sudden, intense bursts of rage that feel inexplicable or out of character.
  1. Division, Distrust, and Conflict
Demons often sow discord, leading to sudden and exaggerated conflicts in families, meetings, or groups. Even minor disagreements can escalate into major disputes under their influence.
  1. Negative Mental Self-Talk
Satan plants thoughts such as, "I'm terrible," "God doesn't love me," or other demonic messages. This kind of "demonic brain" creates intense and persistent negativity.
  1. Exaggerated Sexual Temptations and Blasphemous Thoughts
While everyone faces temptations, demonic influence can amplify them to an overwhelming degree, striking suddenly and powerfully, often out of character.

Identifying the Source

When experiencing these signs, first rule out natural causes. Physical illness, fatigue, or stress might explain the symptoms. However, when these signs appear suddenly, without explanation, and are unusually powerful, it could indicate a hidden demonic presence.

The good news is that demons lose power when exposed. Recognizing these signs is the first step toward liberation.

The Demon of Extreme Anger

The demon that drives certain kinds of things - like extreme anger - is the domain of the demon Isis. The reason it's his domain is that Isis's fall was precipitated by his refusal to accept Christ's mercy for men. As a result, he became the most cruel and vicious demon you could ever deal with. He's even worse than Satan in a certain sense. Satan has his own set of characteristics that you have to deal with, but this demon is purely cruel and vicious.

This tells you that he drives these particular things. As you begin to have a vice, you start building compatibility with a demon, and you become easily manipulatable.

The principle way to engage in spiritual warfare is by eradicating all vices from your life and building virtue to overcome your spiritual defects. You must also build a strong prayer life, which is all part of the virtue of justice.

A Prayer for Healing from Depression and Anxiety

One of the most common struggles people face is a spirit of depression, anxiety, or both. These can be very debilitating and are, unfortunately, very common.

We know the Lord wants to heal us. He healed while He was on this Earth and continues to heal us when we pray. So, let us pray and ask the Lord to come and heal our inner hearts and spirits.

Five Ways to Protect Your Family from Spiritual Warfare

  1. Create a Spiritual Atmosphere in Your Home
Fill your home with prayer, Bible study, and worship to invite the Holy Spirit into your household. A spiritually grounded atmosphere keeps the enemy at bay and fosters unity and faith.
  1. Be Aware of the Enemy's Tactics
The devil is a master of deception and will try to attack your family in any way he can. Stay vigilant, recognizing his strategies, and be prepared to resist them with spiritual discernment.
  1. Use the Word of God as Your Sword
The Bible is the most powerful weapon we have against the devil. Use it to pray over your family, teach them about spiritual warfare, and resist the devil's schemes. Equip your family with scripture to stand strong in faith.

  2. Be United in Prayer
Praying together as a family creates a powerful spiritual bond that the devil cannot resist. Collective prayer strengthens your defense and invites God's presence and protection into your home.
  1. Trust in the Power of Jesus Christ
Remember, the devil is a real enemy, but he is no match for Jesus Christ. Trust in the Lord, rely on His power, and walk in faith. Through Christ, you and your family can be protected from all forms of evil.

Stay steadfast in faith, knowing that spiritual victory is already secured in Christ.

Don’t Look Back: The Lesson of Lot’s Wife

When God decided to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah for their rampant evil, He showed mercy by sending angels to rescue Lot and his family. The angels gave a clear and urgent command: “Run for your lives! Don’t look back!” (Genesis 19:17).

As Lot and his family fled, his wife made a fatal choice—she looked back. “But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt” (Genesis 19:26). Why? Her heart was still tied to Sodom. She couldn’t fully let go of her old life, her attachments, or the sinful environment God was rescuing her from.

Even Jesus reminded us of her in Luke 17:32, saying, “Remember Lot’s wife.” This wasn’t just a passing reference—it’s a warning. Sometimes, we cling to things God is trying to remove from our lives: unhealthy habits, toxic relationships, or sin that holds us back.

When God says “Move forward,” He means it. Trust His direction and don’t let your heart linger in the past. Looking back keeps you stuck, but faith in God’s plan propels you into the blessings and purpose He has for you.

The Question for You

What are you holding onto that’s keeping you from moving forward? Take a moment to reflect. Let go. Trust God. Move forward—and don’t look back.

Let us take a moment of silence to prepare.

Repeat after me:

In the Holy Name of Jesus
I renounce any evil spirits.
I renounce any evil spirits of fear and sadness,
fear and sadness,
depression and despair,
depression and despair.

I renounce them, I rebuke them, I reject them.
I renounce them, I rebuke them, I reject them.
In Jesus' name, I cast them out.
I cast them out.

I cast out any spirits of fear and sadness.
I cast out any spirits of depression and despair.
I renounce them, I rebuke them, I reject them,
and I cast them out.

A Declaration of Freedom:

Now, I say:
I have witnessed your rejection of any evil spirits of fear and sadness, depression and despair, or any spirits of anxiety and depression.

I cut the relationship between you and them.
I cast them out in Jesus' name.
I take the sword of the Spirit and cut any connection between you and any evil spirits.

May the Lord Heal You:

I ask the Lord to wash you clean in the blood of the Lamb.
May the blood of Jesus wash over your heart and mind, healing, purifying, and sanctifying you.

May the Lord heal any past hurts, pains, sufferings, and traumas.
May the Lord wash over your mind, healing your imagination, emotions, common sense, and subconscious.
May the Lord wash over your heart, bringing a deep, profound sense of healing and peace.

I pray for a special gift of hope and inner peace for each of you.
May the Lord lift any darkness, fear, and anxiety, and bring you peace.

Blessing and Peace:

May Almighty God bless you and heal you in the name of Jesus. Be healed.
May you know Jesus, be at peace, and may Almighty God bless you:
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.  Go and be at peace.
