Matthew 24:6-8 “ ‘And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.’ ”
1) FOR ALL THESE THINGS MUST COME TO PASS
The world seems to be in a panic about COVID-19. We know that in the future, over two billion people are going to die from war and disease, but this COVID-19 is not going to kill billions. To gain some perspective, here are some statistics according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. In only five months, between October 1, 2019 and February 29, 2020; there were between 34 and 49 million cases of flu in the U.S. and between 20 to 52 thousand deaths, yet there was no panic.
The new coronavirus disease, COVID-19, has officially been declared a pandemic, according to a Wednesday news briefing March 11, 2020 by the World Health Organization (WHO). The decision came about after cases of COVID-19 increased 13-fold over the course of two weeks, while the number of affected countries tripled. The most recent data provided by the WHO in a Situation Report published March 11, shows that, worldwide, there are currently 118,326 confirmed cases of COVID-19; 4,627 of which were diagnosed in the 24 hours preceding the report. Of those cases, 80,955 are in China, where 3,162 people have died from the illness. Outside of China, COVID-19 has been confirmed in 113 other countries, territories, and areas affecting 37,371 people; 1,130 of whom have died. On my World Ministries International with Dr. Jonathan Hansen Facebook page for Sunday, March 8, 2020 I posted, “The COVID-19 will not be destroyed by the command of any self proclaimed prophet or prophetess. Repentance in the country is the only thing that will stop it. This is not God’s earth anymore and Satan is the prince of the world, which is now led by evil men until the return of Christ. The Bible says that over 2 billion people are going to die before Jesus returns and this is only the beginning of sorrows. This is a hyped virus. Annually in the United States, the flu kills between 12,000 and 60,000 people. Man might come up with a vaccine, but worse viruses are yet to come! Read my book, THE SCIENCE OF JUDGMENT.”
On Wednesday, March 11, 2020 I posted on Facebook, “Although deadly, the alarm over COVID-19 is causing a spirit of fear. This is just a prelude for the elite to see how easy it will be to take away our freedoms. Much deadlier viruses are coming, and no acclaimed prophet or prophetess will be able to stop them.” A person replied on the comment section that “Jesus and the apostles could raise the dead in the first century AD, so clearly the current crop are false or have a lack faith.” I replied to their comment, “They lack discernment of the times. God is allowing these viruses because of the sin of man and only repentance on a national level will bring a change.”
NOTE: There is a huge difference between someone who operates under the gifts of the Holy Spirit in prophecy for exhortation, encouragement and comfort, and a person who functions under the God given mantel and office of a prophet. The person who ministers in the office of a prophet also operates under the gifts of the Holy Spirit in prophecy. The prophet can also operate in other gifts such as a word of knowledge, word of wisdom, discernment, miracles, faith, etc., but God has commissioned them to primarily focus on sin that brings judgment on themselves or a nation.
2) Dear Saint: DO NOT BE AFRAID!!! Again I say, DO NOT BE AFRAID!!!
2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Psalms 55:22 tells us to “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”
1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
Remember the story of Moses and the children of Israel. God used Moses to execute judgment on Pharaoh by giving him warnings ten different times. When Pharaoh refused to repent, judgment came in the form of ten different plagues. But the children of Israel did not suffer under those plagues/judgments as long as they obeyed the warnings of God through Moses.
Revelation 7:2-3 reads, “And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”
Revelation 9:4 reads, “And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.”
Revelation 9:20-21 “And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
Revelation 16:9 “And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory”
Revelation 16:11 “And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds”
Revelation 16:21 “And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.”
These verses speak about further plagues and tells us that judgment continues for those who do not repent.
3) STAY UNDER THE BLOOD
Repentance is the KEY! If one is in a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ, they should not be afraid. The lukewarm rebellious believer is in trouble. The true followers of Jesus have nothing to fear regarding COVID-19 or the future wrath/plagues of God.
The Lord is saying this COVID-19 virus will go as quickly as it came! This is but a warning! Prayer alone for mercy without repentance will not work in the future! It is good that leaders such as President Trump are leading prayers for my mercy, but in the future, I demand repentance for sins of abomination such as killing the innocent (abortion), immorality (pornography, fornication, homosexuality, etc), idolatry (serving self, ideologies, philosophies, religions, etc) and dividing the land of Israel.
