Have you ever sat down to pray, only to find your mind wandering off in a million different directions? Your to-do list, worries, and distractions seem to take over, leaving you wondering if prayer is even worth the effort.
I totally get it. Prayer can be tough. But here's the thing, it's not just about us. We're in a spiritual battle, and our enemy will stop at nothing to keep us from connecting with God.
So, why is prayer such a challenge? For one, our flesh is weak, and our minds are easily distracted. We're also tempted to prioritize our own desires over our desire for God.
But despite these challenges, we can grow in our prayer lives. Here's how:
1. Come as you are: Jesus loves you just as you are; no pretenses, no filters. He knows your heart and He's not surprised by your thoughts or feelings.
2. Remember what prayer is: Prayer isn't a formula or a system; it's a conversation with the living God. It's a relationship, and He's invited you to join Him.
3. Ask for help: Prayer is a spiritual activity, and we need God's help to make it effective. Ask Him to give you a greater desire to pray and to help you stay focused.
Growing in prayer is about building a relationship with Jesus. He's initiated the conversation, and He longs for you to know Him better. Don't give up, even when it's tough. You are loved, and you are worth it.
Continually pray that we may end well this year. We thank God for your lives and the tremendous work you are doing covering us in prayer.
Blessings and Happy Holidays!

Dear Prayer Partner:
I have a tremendous opportunity presented to me that I need each one of you to earnestly intercede with Adalia and I over.
A donor has stepped up and told me that he will match dollar for dollar any amount donated to WMI until December 31, 2024. No Limit! Please, this is a breakthrough opportunity to extend the effectiveness of the warning message in 2025.
I am praying that everyone reading my articles and listening to my daily warning programs etc. will give something. Please, each of you give to this great opportunity. Every one of my staff at WMI has already given. You can give at worldministries.org or call (360) 629-5248.
Blessings and have a wonderful time with family and friends worshiping Jesus.
