If you’re not baptized with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, it will be “difficult” for you to pray for long hours at a time. Without being filled with the Spirit, the attempt of praying for an extended period might be met with vain repetitions and sometimes being worn out quickly.
I CORINTHIANS 14:18
"I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:"
EPHESIANS 6:18
"PRAYING ALWAYS with all prayer and supplication IN THE SPIRIT, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"
JUDE 20
"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST,"
You will never run out of spiritual energy and motivation while praying in the Spirit. For it is your spirit that’s praying in that moment.
1 CORINTHIANS 14:14
"For if I pray in an unknown tongue, MY SPIRIT PRAYETH, but my understanding is unfruitful."
Let's say if somebody wants to pray for seven hours at a stretch but in the first thirty minutes, they're screaming at the top of their voice to the point that they start coughing and sweating profusely. Most often with time, such people become tired even before thirty minutes is over.
I usually meditate upon this verse and I apply it to prayer:
Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
When you wait on the Holy Spirit to help you pray, you will be able to maneuver in prayer with ease. One hour of prayer can easily be turned into three to seven hours of communion with the Holy Spirit without even noticing how much time has passed.
Below are our prayer requests for this month:
- We need more financial and prayer partners
- More Eagles Saving Nations members
- A need for a more advanced Laptop for television which costs $5,500
God richly bless you,
